With all the news of police brutality, murders, and racism still prevalent in America, Run the Jewels‘ fast-spitting songs about retaliating against the government and bringing humanity together take on a new meaning. But as if that wasn’t enough, Killer Mike went and released an old mixtape this past Sunday, because if there’s anything we can depend on, it’s his lyrical genius to guide us towards action.

The mixtape, titled Sunday Morning Massacres, uses biblical themes to kick things up with Killer Mike’s approachable fury. If he sounds younger, though, give yourself a pat on the back. The mixtape is from 2008, but he’s only just now released it.
