Stream Charli XCX’s New Album, ‘Sucker’

Having grown more and more successful as the year progressed, British pop singer-songwriter Charli XCX is ending 2014 on a high note as we near the impending release of her newest full-length record, Sucker. She was first heard on the radio as a co-writer for Icona Pop‘s “I Love It” and featured on Iggy Azalea‘s “Fancy.”

Following up on these radio hits, turning down a feature spot on a Christina Aguilera track, and her 2013 debut record, True Romance, the breakout figure that gave us Billboard-charting “Boom Clap” is ready to roll out her next thirteen tracks under Asylum/Atlantic/Neon Gold. It may also be very interesting to note that Sucker contains a number of the industry’s talented musicians and producers including Rivers Cuomo (Weezer), Rostam Batmanglij (Vampire Weekend), Steve Mac (Shakira, One Direction), and more.

In an interview with DIY Magazine, Charli XCX shares: “I feel like this record, of anything I’ve ever done, is most me,” Charli explains. “This feels right, everything about it feels perfect. I’ve grown in confidence. I know now that I can write a hit song, and I feel like I’ve come into my own. I just wanted to make a consistent but next-level pop record, and I didn’t want to just make something that would be, like, a cool, safe record.”

You can now stream Sucker on iTunes Radio. Check out the track list below.
