UTG PHOTOS: Monster Outbreak Rock Tour 2014 (12/6/14)

Under The Gun’s Head of Photography, Corbin Alvae, attended the Monster Outbreak Tour at The Fillmore in Detroit, MI.

With 2014 coming close to an end soon and the big man in the red suit coming to town in a couple weeks, I needed to catch and shoot one more tour before my shooting season ended. When I saw that the Monster Outbreak Tour was making its stop in the D, I knew that I needed to catch this. Thankfully it hasn’t snowed here yet, so going out to this wasn’t a hassle (unlike last year’s winter events I did).

The tour kicked off with Sworn In. I caught these fellas over the summer on the All Stars tour in Pontiac. They provided a great performance to kick off a very incredible night.

Next up, Like Moths To Flames took the stage. I saw these guys over the summer on the All Stars tour as well. LMTF never disappoints me with their live performance and it seems to be better and better each time.

After LMTF, we had Crown The Empire. They’re always a great group to catch live from start to finish; never disappointing and always full of energy to keep you off your feet and moving.

Lastly we had one of my favorite groups to shoot live, Attila. I caught them at Warped in Detroit and again, they’re yet another band that has a very energy-filled performance. Fronz was everywhere on the stage, bras were flying – it was definitely a metal show. To make it better, Fronz and his “go-pro mic” was the icing on the cake; capturing every moment live you can think of during their set.

Overall, the Monster Outbreak Rock Tour was a success, filled with heavy music and a memorable night for all in attendance.
