Coldplay Release New Single “Miracles”

Everyone’s favorite adult contemporary radio act Coldplay have released a new track called “Miracles.” The song is taken from the soundtrack to the film Unbroken, which is due out in stores December 15 via Atlantic Records.

“Miracles” sounds like your typical Coldplay song – ringing acoustic guitars, piano, a slightly uplifting snap track to keep the beat, and Chris Martin’s easily distinguishable voice take control of the fold here. If you like Coldplay, you’ll be happy with this one.

Martin also recently confirmed that the band is working on a new record, which may or may not be the band’s last. In his words:

It’s our seventh thing and the way we look at it it’s like the last Harry Potter book. That’s not to say there won’t be another thing one day, but this is the completion of something.

You can stream “Miracles” below, and see Unbroken in theaters Christmas Day. Let us know what you think in the comments below, or via Facebook or Twitter.
