It looks like there will be more Daft Punk goodness in 2015 apart from a new documentary. The iconic electronic duo of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter may get turned into Lego figurines in the near future.
According to Radio.com, Lego’s Ideas page has a Daft Punk pitch with over 5,000 supporters. The idea includes a robot world of mini figurines, guitars, synths, mini pads, and a lighting rig (!), including sets inspired by their “Around The World” video and “ALIVE 2007? stage. Best of all, Lego seems open to the idea. “This project is speeding and it isn’t stopping,” they wrote. “This project didn’t just get lucky, the detail and thought behind the project speaks for itself.” For the company to start molding plastic, however, the campaign has to hit 10,000 backers first. Head here to help reach that goal.
