Enter Shikari Premiere “Slipshod”

Enter Shikari are known for pushing the boundaries of their signature post-hardcore/electronic blend with every release, but a bonus track from their forthcoming record has went beyond most listeners’ potential imagination. Entitled “Slipshod,” the cut erratically swings from a screamed Rou Reynolds monologue concerning his poor service at a high-end restaurant over swirling instrumentals into a moombahton-esque breakdown, all the while never losing its gargantuan levels of energy.

Absurd in its own right, this does not even begin to describe the accompanying cartoon visuals portraying a conflict worthy of more than its two-minute runtime. Without further ado, though, follow the jump to check out “Slipshod” and be sure to pre-order The Mindsweep on iTunes before it releases January 19 via Hopeless Records.
