Though it is an unlikely and odd pairing, The National have made frequent animated appearances on Fox’s Bob’s Burgers. With Christmas right around the corner, the band makes another appearance, singing “Christmas Magic.” Though instead of floating on a boat of gravy, the indie heroes find themselves placed on a Christmas tree as ornaments.

Watch as the band is made into angels, drummer boys, elves, snowmen, and reindeer. Leave it to The National to be the ones to bring indie sorrow to a falling animated Christmas snow, for only the visually comedic animation can be coupled with the heaviness of the band’s sound.
