Brandon Pagano (Handguns) and Jake Mannix Cover The 1975’s “Girls”


Brandon Pagano is a member of pop-punk favorites Handguns, as well as one of our favorite people from the entire music industry. He’s the type of person who always has something new to share, and in the midst of everyone’s holiday celebration, the twenty-something partnered with friend Jake Mannix to share a punk-laden cover of The 1975’s hit single “Girls.”

You may have your doubts about a pop-punk diehard’s ability to capture the sensual undertones of “Girls” in a way that is in any way comparable to the original track, but Pagano and Mannix have gone above and beyond with this cover. It’s a fun and bouncy effort that adds an extra jolt of life into a song that has yet to feel even a day old. You can stream their cover via video below:
