Front Porch Step Breaks Silence

Front-Porch-Step

The internet has been buzzing over rumors and allegations that Front Porch Step, otherwise known as singer-songwriter Jake McElfresh, has been sexually harassing underage fans through text for months (if not longer). We brought you the original story just yesterday afternoon, and since that time the petition to have FPS removed from Warped Tour has received almost 4,000 additional signatures. No new information has come to light since then, or at least nothing we feel comfortable posting here on UTG, but just after midnight Wednesday morning McElfresh updated his official Twitter page.

“I am aware of everything going on right now and will be addressing it soon,” McElfresh wrote. “I’m so sorry this happened.”

Obviously this comment does not say whether FPS will confess to the allegations being true or condemn them for trying to ruin his name, but it does appear that we will have more information on the whole matter in the near future. For now, you can view a screenshot of the tweet in question below. Follow UTG on Twitter for updates.

Sorry isn’t going to cut it. Confess that you did it or not, Jake.
