Lame-O Records Announce Six-Way Split, ‘Strength In Weakness,’ For Charity

In an effort to benefit the non-profit charitable organization that is United Cerebral Palsy, Lame-O Records just announced that they have teamed up with a number of great bands to bring us Strength In Weakness, a six-way split whose proceeds will go directly to the aforementioned foundation.

The six-way split will feature Modern Baseball, Beach Slang, Marietta, The Weaks, Hurry, and Spraynard. Available physically and digitally on February 3, the label has also announced that a limited number of vinyl pre-orders (500 copies) will go up on January 7 at 12PM EST.

To quote the label’s statement: “Strength In Weakness, Lame-O Records hopes to give back to the community we love so much. The proceeds will be donated to both the local Philadelphia chapter of United Cerebral Palsy and the national branch. With all the good that has come to us over these first two years of existence, and all of the amazing bands and people we have gotten a chance to meet and work with, we are thrilled by the opportunity to contribute to something bigger than ourselves. Learn more about UCP at the link below and thank you to everyone who helped make this happen, and to all of you who donate.”

You can pre-order Strength In Weakness digitally via Bandcamp here, while vinyl pre-orders will go up on Wednesday here.
