Apart from their few appearances at various music festivals this past year, there has not been any word about what The Get Up Kids are up to lately. This morning, however, the Kansas City alt-rock outfit announced via Twitter that they will be heading out on a series of shows this spring.

To be supported by Restorations (who will also be hitting a few dates in Canada prior to this tour) and breakout punk rockers, PUP, the mini-tour will begin on March 24 in Cleveland Heights, OH, hit a number of cities in the Northeast, and conclude in Pawtucket, RI.
