STREAM: The Districts – “Peaches”

The Pennsylvania music scene is one of the best around, and continuously shows that it’s home to bands who release great music. Today, blues-infused Americana band The Districts released a new song, “Peaches,” which comes off of their upcoming full-length, A Flourish and a Spoil. The song has very raw production, but still manages to sound huge, sweeping, and incredibly catchy. “Peaches” starts off soft, but then swells into a wall of sound.

Having recently seen The Districts at their “secret” show in Philadelphia with mewithoutYou, UTG can confirm that while their studio music is great, to truly appreciate their sound, you need to see them live. They’re absolutely breathtaking, emotional, and incredibly engaging. Because we’re not jerks and we wouldn’t tease you about their live show without giving you information about when you can see them, we’ve included a poster with their new tour dates after the break.

A Flourish and a Spoil comes out on Fat Possum Records on February 9, and you can pre-order it here.

Enough talk, check out the song, let us know what you think in the comments, and see them live. It’s pretty simple.
