Alkaline Trio’s Derek Grant Streams Debut Solo Album ‘Breakdown’

Derek Grant wrote a majority of his debut full-length Breakdown years ago, although it wasn’t until recently that he decided to share it with the world. Sometimes it’s hard to step away from one of the biggest bands in the music scene (Alkaline Trio) to find some time to release a new project.

Stepping away from behind the drum set and making his way to the front of the stage, Grant explores some of the darker parts of life through this therapeutic and cathartic piece. The album is formally released today, so if you like what you hear, you can head over to iTunes and pick it up.
