Lil Wayne May Leave Cash Money, Taking Drake & Nicki Minaj With Him

More drama has arisen from Lil Wayne and his ongoing feud with Birdman, who is the co-founder of Cash Money Records and has Young Money Entertainment as an imprint label subsidiary, which is owned by Lil Wayne.

According to a report from TMZ, Weezy is currently asking for $8 million in debt for Birdman’s ongoing delay for his final album, Tha Carter V. Lil Wayne is also wanting to sue Birdman in order to leave Cash Money with all of his Young Money Entertainment artists, which includes Drake and Nicki Minaj.

The only setback with this impending lawsuit is that all record distribution for all Young Money artists is put through Cash Money Records. With this being said, it would have to be settled in court and it could take months for a final verdict to be reached. But in the eyes of Weezy, he will stop at nothing to make sure Young Money Entertainment cuts all ties with Cash Money.
