‘Jurassic World’ Super Bowl Spot Teases New Dinosaur

We are still several months away from the release of Jurassic World, but those who tuned in to this year’s Super Bowl were treated to a special preview by way of a new trailer.

Running exactly one minute in length, the latest teaser for Jurassic World offers viewers a first glance of a brand new dinosaur. It seems the corporation behind the park has decided the dinos we all know and love were simply not enough to bring in business, so they went ahead and made one of their own. Smart, right?

Wrong. So, so, so wrong. You can view the new footage below:

The official synopsis for Jurassic World reads:

Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park (1993), Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. After 10 years of operation and visitor rates declining, in order to fulfill a corporate mandate, a new attraction is created to re-spark visitor’s interest, which backfires horribly.

Jurassic World roars into theaters June 12. Are you ready?
