For those who haven’t been keeping tabs on Kevin Devine – he has some seriously exciting projects coming up this year. He recently announced his Devinyl Split Series, which is a series of split 7″ EPs that will be released every other month this year. There will be six splits total, and the first three collaborators have already been announced. February’s split features Nada Surf frontman Matthew Caws. April’s split will feature Perfect Pussy‘s Meredith Graves. June’s split will feature Tigers Jaw.

Devinyl Split No 1, featuring Matthew Caws, is available for pre-order via Bad Timing Records. The split features one song by each artist. Devine has teamed up with The AV Club to premiere his portion of the split, which is a cover of Nada Surf’s “Inside Of Love.” You can stream it below.
