The Official Trailer For The ‘Poltergeist’ Reboot Is Here

There are some horror films that have become classics over the decades. We are now in a time where studios like to make reboots of some of those classic stories, and Poltergeist is the next target. Back in 2013 we announced the plan for the reboot, and now we finally have the first trailer. You can check it out below.

I don’t think a reboot will be as good as the original, but the trailer does look promising. There are at least a handful of elements included that helped make the original great. Unfortunately it appears that Zelda Rubinstein’s character has been replaced by an Irish-sounding male priest, so we will have to see how that goes over with fans.

Poltergeist will hit theaters July 24.
