Hot Chip Announce New Album and Tour, Debut First Single “Huarache Lights”

Need a burst of energy this morning? Hot Chip has your back. The British dance-rockers have unleashed “Haurache Lights,” the first single from their just-announced new album Why Make Sense?, which is due out on May 19 through Domino Records.

Why Make Sense? is already available for pre-order in a variety of formats, with a deluxe edition of the album featuring the standard 10-song LP along with an additional 4-track EP entitled Separate.

The group has also announced some new tour dates, including a two-week sprint across North America to bridge the gap between their previously-announced appearances at the Sasquatch! and Governors Ball music festivals. Click through for the full list of dates and the “Haurache Lights” music video.
