Dance Gavin Dance Continue To Impress With “On The Run”

Adding to an already acclaimed catalog of intricate rock goodness, Dance Gavin Dance have reaffirmed their unique presence in the world of alternative music with the release of “On The Run.”

The first song to surface from the band’s forthcoming album, which is scheduled for release this spring through Rise Records, “On The Run” offers a little bit of everything fans have come to expect from Dance Gavin Dance. Things begin rather chaotic, with screams pouring through the speakers alongside a furious flurry of sound. That sound remains for a bit, but eventually the song begins to evolve into something far more alternative leaning, and before it’s over there is even some semblance of a pop influence (thanks largely to the commanding presence of vocalist Tilian Pearson). You can stream the track, which was released with an accompanying lyric video, below.
