Atlanta has been a hotbed for rap’s new generation of celebrities since around the summer of 2010, and it seems like the city among the hills still has plenty of talented people to share. The latest, OG Maco, has made quite a name for himself over the last six months. He’s worked on tracks with everyone from Young Thug to Trinidad James, and now he’s letting fans further into his reality with the release of a killer new mixtape titled 15.
Released Sunday night, February 15, the second EP from OG Maco to surface in six months contains eleven brand new tracks. That is exceptionally long for an extended play release, but we’re not about to argue with Maco. Instead, we’ve spent the last twelve hours spinning his latest work again and again, learning of his struggle to be the best against top shelf production from TM 88, Twan On The Beat, and more. You can stream and download the release, for free, below:
It’s unclear at this point whether a major will step in to support OG Maco or not, but the heat coming off this mixtape on social feeds today tells us this young emcee isn’t going to be leaving the spotlight any time soon. Stay tuned.
