The Young Wild Release New Video For Ultra-Catchy Single, “Not A One”

California’s The Young Wild is an act that was unfortunately not on my radar until very recently. So, needless to say, I’ve been making up for lost time, starting with countless replays of the video for their most recent single, “Not A One.”

Premiering over at Nerdist earlier this week, the video for “Not A One” is ostensibly simple but stylish in all the right ways. Having only come to frution as a band late last year after meticulous planning by singer-songwriter Bryan B. William, it’s impressive that we’re getting material of this caliber from an act so early in their career. I expect big radio play and endless festival spots on the horizon for The Young Wild.

In regards to the video, William explains, “We decided to do a performance piece where each person would be filmed separately and make an interpretation of the song without being aware of what the other performers would be doing. When we combined each shot into one environment you get all of these movements and ideas working with and against each other. As far as ‘single shot’ videos go we think it holds up.”

We agree wholeheartedly. Check it out below.

The Young Wild have plenty of touring plans and a new EP in the works for 2015. We’ll provide more information when it becomes available.
