Watch A$AP Ferg’s Star-Studded “Dope Walk” Video

A$AP Ferg

New York rapper A$AP Ferg has teamed with Rolling Stone to share a new music video for his track, “Dope Walk.” Shot entirely via IPhone and featuring cameos from Kanye West, Justin Bieber, and many others, view the clip by following the jump below.

“With ‘Dope Walk’ I wanted to bring back kids dancing and having fun again,” the 26-year-old wordsmith explained. “That’s how it used to be in Harlem. I remember everybody Harlem-shaking and ‘Chicken Noodle Soup’-ing. Those were some of the most fun and memorable times in my life.”

Stelios Phili, the song’s producer, drew inspiration from elsewhere.

“To create the ‘Dope Walk’ beat, I tried to imagine what it would sound like if N.E.R.D. made ratchet R&B music with Lars Ulrich as the drummer,” Phili said. “It’s a combination of things that should never go together—and I knew Ferg would have no problem with that.”
