Happy Monday, Internet!
Brand New has announced they will finally re-press Deja Entendu on vinyl after the 2003 album has become increasingly (and frustratingly) elusive for years, with copies going for upwards of $500 on ebay.
And while this announcement might spell the end of at least one rather comedic tumblr account, it will undoubtedly be celebrated by both vinyl collectors and Brand New’s legions of fans.
The re-issue will first hit stores on Record Store Day (April 18) as a double LP on black 180-gram vinyl. The RSD-exclusive version will be limited to 1,500 copies featuring special packaging sure to inspire all-night camp-outs across the country. A standard re-issue, again on 180-gram vinyl, will become widely available on May 5, with pre-order details to come.
