New ‘Tomorrowland’ Trailer Will Blow Your Mind

In a summer filled with titles like Furious 7 and Avengers: Age Of Ultron, those studios hoping to see big returns on original, non-sequel titles really need to up their game. Disney, it seems, has done just that.

Today, the house that Mickey Mouse built released a breathtaking new trailer for Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland. The clips builds on the mystery and wonder first teased in the 2014 debut trailer, then cranks the crazy up to eleven with jet packs, Hugh Laurie in what looks to be a space suit, holographic dogs, and a whole lot more. The story is still largely a mystery, but it’s clear something truly unique is in store for audiences this summer. Check out the footage:

Speaking about his inspiration for the film, Brad Bird commented: “I was not inspired by old science fiction as much as I was inspired by how the future used to be seen in contrast to how it’s seen today.”

We’re sure Disney will share at least one more trailer for Tomorrowland before the film’s May 22 release, and if they do we’ll share the footage right here with all of you. Follow UTG on Twitter for updates.
