The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Announces 2015 Presenters and Performers

Yesterday, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced the presenters and performers for this year’s ceremony, which is set to air on HBO this coming May.

As reported by Rolling Stone, Sir Paul McCartney will aptly induct Ringo Starr, the always-awesome Stevie Wonder will chat about Bill Wither, and Patti Smith will introduce Lou Reed. Conversely, Peter Wolf will speak on the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, John Mayer will praise Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, and Steve Cropper will welcome The “5” Royales. Additionally, Fall Out Boy will discuss Green Day, which almost seems poetic, considering how instrumental both acts have been in the mainstream integration of punk music.

And let us not forget about the best part all—the performances. Dave Grohl, Tom Morello, Joe Walsh, Jimmie Vaughan, Beck, and John Legend are all scheduled to rock the night away, though it is still unclear which inductee each of them will be representing.

Comment below and let us know if you’ll be tuning in on May 30.
