As part of the YouTube Music Awards, pop star Charli XCX has just premiered a new music video for her single, “Famous.”
The video, directed by Eric Wareheim (Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!), depicts the catchy tune in extreme colors, odd scenarios, and lots of selfies. Charli and her emojis swirl through a bright world of fun social media in her room to a ghostly scene of seemingly hypnotized, dancing old people.
It’s a little difficult to put this wacky music video into words, as is the case with nearly anything Wareheim has his hands in, so watch it for yourself below and let us know what you think.
