UTG ALBUM PREMIERE: Gone By Friday – ‘Quarter-Life Crisis’

Gone By Friday are a four-piece punk rock outfit based out of Queens, New York. The group is poised to release their sophomore studio album, titled Quarter-Life Crisis, at the end of this month. This will be their first album release in nearly four years, and they are incredibly proud of the work they’ve put into this album. You can read what they have to say about its concept below.

“Let’s start by saying this album was a lot of work! It’s been years in the making, and about a million revelations later here we are. To put it simply, Quarter-Life Crisis is about growing up. But that’s only in simple terms, because growing up requires a certain extent of honesty with oneself. Each song is one of deep reflection and an acceptance of circumstance and the world around you. It’s about learning to make the best of what you have, and not being afraid of falling flat on your face. You will lose a lot in life, so cherish everything you have, for moments are always fleeting.”

We are happy to announce that we have teamed up with the band to be the first to stream Quarter-Life Crisis in its entirety. You can listen to the album beneath the break. If you like what you hear, be sure to pre-order it through the band’s Bandcamp page. It will officially be released March 31.
