80/35 Is The Best 60 Bucks You’ll Spend All Summer

80/35 2014

The eighth annual 80/35 music festival, held in Des Moines, Iowa, has packed some major bang for your buck in this year’s lineup. At 59 dollars for a two-day pass, you get graced with artists such as Wilco, Weezer, Jenny Lewis, Run The Jewels, and many others.

Not into two days for the event? One could also make the argument that Friday night’s bang-bang-bang feature name lineup of Wilco, Jenny Lewis and St. Lucia is the best 40 bucks you could spend on one show all year. Save a few dollars and head out to Des Moines for what is sure to be a stand-out show at a price that’ll let you actually buy beer inside the gates…instead of sneaking it in like you did back in your early 20s.

A Run The Jewels performance/experience is worth $60 alone, but Jenny Lewis is so damn good and makes it worth going to both nights, for those out in that area of course.
