Drake Shares “My Side,” A Leftover From ‘If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late’

Drake will release a collector’s physical edition of the February mixtape If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late on April 21 featuring an extended track list. It will include “How Bout Now,” which he shared last October, and a new track he shared this week, titled “My Side,” a leftover from the original If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late recording sessions that features Lil Wayne.

With Lil Wayne and Drake cutting the song into two halves, both rappers do what they do best. For Lil Wayne, it’s rapping about cunnilingus and having sex with girls. For Drake, that’s rapping about feelings, being rich and going to the club. Overall, it makes sense that this track was left off If You’re Reading This; I can’t imagine a fitting spot for this track in particular.
