New ‘Star Wars’ Trailer Teases New Foes and Old Allies

After what feels like forever, we have finally been given our second look at Star Wars: The Force Awakens in the form of a new two-minute teaser.

If ever you had doubts as to JJ Abrams’ ability to helm one of the most beloved franchises in cinema history, I assure you that such reservations will be cast aside within the opening seconds of Lucasfilm’s latest offering.

It is apparent that the 48-year-old filmmaker has gone to great lengths to keep the feel of the original films intact, and the results speak for themselves. There are X-Wings, there are lightsabers, and it is glorious. Check it out:
