Counterparts Sign With Pure Noise Records

Counterparts pure noise 2015

Canadian hardcore band and Victory Records alumni Counterparts have signed with Pure Noise Records / New Damage Records for the release of their upcoming fourth full-length record this Summer.

This is extremely exciting news for Counterparts. The band received near universal acclaim for 2013’s The Difference Between Hell and Home, but the lack of promotion that accompanies being signed to Victory Records in the 2010s held the band back from their full potential. Seeing the band move to a more appropriate label, particularly one as great as Pure Noise, is promising. I predict that Counterparts will be one of the most hyped bands in the genre by the end of the year with the proper backing.

Most anticipated hardcore record of the year? I’d say so.
