Atreyu To Release Comeback Album In September

Just two months after confirming their plans to release a new album through Spinefarm/Search And Destroy Records, Atreyu have revealed that their long-awaited new material will finally see the light of day this September.

This morning, April 27, publicists for Atreyu began sharing a promotional image teasing the band’s plans to release new music this fall. The still untitled album does not have a concrete release date, but with September only four months away it stands to reason more detailed information will be made available soon.

No track listing has been made available for Atreyu’s new album, but it is widely believed the song “So Others May Live,” which the band recently released on a limited edition 7″ as part of Record Store Day, will be one of the tracks included on the record. You can stream the song, in HD, below.

Atreyu performed at Launch Music Conference over the weekend in Lancaster, PA. While on stage, the band made the release month news known shortly before sharing “So Others May Live.” I was actually on hand for the show, and I can honestly say it was one of the best performances I have seen all year. Atreyu are back. For real. And I’m not sure anything can stand in their way.
