HOLY SH!T: Tech N9ne And Corey Taylor (Slipknot) Drop Mind-Blowing Track

So Tech N9ne isn’t holding anything back with guest spots on his upcoming LP, Special Effects. Songs have already surfaced featuring Eminem, B.O.B. and 2 Chainz — with the tracks featuring spots from T.I, Hopsin, Lil Wayne and many others slated to appear on the record, which drops next Tuesday.

But none compare to “Wither,” the track that premiered yesterday via Loudwire, with Tech alongside Slipknot’s Corey Taylor. The composition of the song comes across as a best-of-both-worlds, with Tech’s rhythmic, frantic rapping fused alongside the occult drum patterns synonymous with Slipknot.

Taylor is brash and emotional, while Tech, who has always been known to bend and break cross-genre boundaries, is smooth and fierce. It’s like a hot and cold, rough and smooth dichotomy. It’s just about the best collaboration to drop in 2015.
