Old Demos By John Nolan Feat. Jesse Lacey Unearthed

Taking Back Sunday's John Nolan performing "Cute Without The 'E' (Cut From The Team)" at Riot Fest Denver (Day 2).

Unbeknownst to many, Taking Back Sunday‘s John Nolan started a band in high school under the name of Gudmunder Bjornsen. The band recorded a bunch of music before Nolan joined TBS in 1999.

Ten of these tracks have recently surfaced over at SoundCloud; some of which feature Brand New‘s Jesse Lacey and John’s sister, Michelle Nolan. Word is also going around that these tracks might have also been produced with Lacey.

We kind of dig it. You can check out the very easily jam-able and not-rough demos below. Don’t forget to let us know what you think.

In case you missed it, Nolan started a PledgeMusic campaign in the beginning of the year to fund a new solo endeavor. You can find more details about it here.
