UPDATE: The song is now available on YouTube – stream it below. Hallelujah!
If you’ve been paying attention to Third Eye Blind‘s social media this week, you’re probably hotly anticipating the band’s announcement of album number five, which has been teased for Friday morning. It looks like a new song from the record has hit Rdio a day early. If you subscribe to the music streaming service, you can stream “Everything is Easy” below.
I noticed the track sitting in my notifications panel this morning. I had to do some research to make sure that “Everything is Easy” isn’t a non-album track that I had yet to hear, but rest assured, this is a brand new Third Eye Blind song. It’s also a perfect first single – it’s lighthearted, catchy, and it’ll surely make appearances on the radio all summer. My first impression: the song seems perfectly tailored for a summer blockbuster credits sequence, in the best way possible.
If you subscribe to Rdio, you can stream “Everything is Easy” below. I’ll likely be dancing to this song with my dog for the remainder of the day. If you want to hear the song and don’t have an Rdio subscription, the song will probably be pushed to iTunes, Spotify, and other services tomorrow along with the album announcement.
