Skate And Surf Adds A Will Away To Lineup, Posts Set Times

We’re just a week away from Skate and Surf 2015 and the fine folks running the festival are still adding must-see bands to the ever-growing lineup. The festival announced today that A Will Away will be playing this year on Sunday, May 17.

While Sunday’s lineup was already impressive, the Connecticut four-piece indie/emo band rounds out the lineup in all the best ways. Whole bands like Acceptance, The Gaslight Anthem, and Manchester Orchestra are not to be missed, A Will Away make this a special occasion. I can assure you that by this time next year, A Will Away will be playing much bigger rooms and have a much bigger fanbase – make sure you check out their set and get to know them before everyone else does. We premiered one of my favorite tracks of the year, “My Sitter,” from the band’s new EP, Bliss, not too long ago on the site, if you’re not familiar with the band yet.

Additionally, Skate and Surf have announced set times and stage placements, which you can find below. That conflict during Aaron West and Acceptance is rough, but the rest of the weekend is looking nice.

I’ll be at Skate and Surf Festival this year, covering the event for Under The Gun. Stay tuned for more Skate and Surf content in the coming weeks.
