Hardcore outfit Vanities have decided to call it quits after just three years of giving people a good reason to still care about heavy music from New England.

Writing to fans by hand, which was shared with the world via Facebook, the members of Vanities have explained their decision to part ways by citing a desire to create something different. The band members each have a continuing passion for music, but their interest in pursuing heavy music is not what it once was. They have new interests, and as a result they feel it’s best that Vanities be put to rest. You can view their full statement below.
