MMG rapper Meek Mill is still tight lipped about when his Sophomore album will drop, but last night he shared a new freestyle that is sure to please fans.

Partnering with Funkmaster Flex for the official premiere late Wednesday night, May 13, Meek Mill recently shared his first new freestyle in several months with the world. For two and a half minutes Mill can be heard going in over the beat for Drake‘s hit “Energy,” which fits the flow of the Philly native incredibly well. You can stream the track, in full, below.

The artwork released with this track, which you can see above, leads us to believe a video component may be released in the near future. I’d rather see Meek Mill drop his long-awaited new album if we’re being completely honest, but anything that involves him sharing more new material with the world is fine by me.
