The Good Life Announce First New Album in 8 Years, Stream Lead Single

After eight long years of inactivity, Tim Kasher (also of Cursive) has decided to put some oil back in the old indie rock machine that is The Good Life. The band has just announced that they will be releasing a brand new record this summer via Saddle Creek.

Entitled Everybody’s Coming Down, the impending effort is slated for an August 14 release date, about eight years since the release of their last record, Help Wanted Nights. This will immediately be followed by a US tour alongside Big Harp set to run until early in September. In addition to the news of new music, the Omaha/Nebraska four-piece has also just released the first single off of the record entitled “Everybody.”

You can check the new song out below. Pre-orders for the record are now available here.
