Active Child Streams Gorgeous New LP, ‘Mercy’

Pat Grossi somehow manages to get better and better. I know practice makes perfect, but I probably called Active Child “perfect” a long time ago. Yet, here we are with Mercy, his newest LP, and it’s, uh, breathtaking.

Taking to Facebook to excitedly share the album’s stream, Grossi said: “POURED MY HEART AND SOUL INTO THIS ALBUM. I HOPE U CAN FEEL IT! MUCH LOVE.”

We can’t help but feel it. Grossi’s heart has always been evident in his music, and it’s much the same with Mercy, maybe more than ever. It’s poignant and vulnerable and it makes me want to give Pat a big ol’ hug.
