Coheed and Cambria return with a brand new single, and brand new album announcement.

“You’ve Got Spirit, Kid” is the first taste of Coheed’s eighth LP, The Color Before The Sun. Poppy as ever, Coheed return with soaring melodies, bright guitar riffs, and a revitalized sense of fun.

The Color Before The Sun also marks the band’s first non-conceptual album. Speaking with Kerrang, Claudio Sanchez says, “I kind of want people to know that Coheed can write that sort of record. I’ve always said in the past that there’s never been a limitation on the band. It makes no sense to me to draw a line in the sand and never cross it.”
