The queen is back, everyone. Go ahead and forget about those young pop star wannabes because Lana is back and ready to take her place atop the mainstream music throne.

Just days after finding herself wrapped up in the immediate viral success of her new single “High By The Beach,” Lana Del Rey has returned to global headlines with the song’s official video. The clip, which was shot on a yacht somewhere in the middle of the ocean, finds LDR doing her best to lay low from pesky paparazzi. Her efforts ultimately do not pay off, but that’s when things get really interesting. There is a final twist too good to spoil in text. You’ll just have to see it for yourself.

We have been spinning “High By The Beach” all week long. In our official review, James Shotwell wrote that LDR has “learned she doesn’t need the suggestions of her musical industry peers just like she doesn’t need a faux bad-ass telling her how to life her life. She’s Lana Del Rey, goddammit, and that’s all she needs to be.” If you agree, click below and enjoy the official video for “High By The Beach” right away.

Honeymoon, LDR’s new album, is due out later this year. Stay tuned.
