Covey Turns Heads with Cinematic New Single, “Stranger”

Tom Freeman, a.k.a. indie-folk powerhouse Covey, has joined forces with Allston Pudding to premiere a spacious new single titled “Stranger.” Listen in after the break.

Acting as Freeman’s first solo outing under the moniker of Covey, “Stranger” is bigger than anything we’ve heard from the Berkeley graduate to date. Ethereal backing vocals drift carelessly behind affecting guitar lines and driving percussion, resulting in a stirring final product that is grandiose, but not in the least bit overdone.
