‘Finders Keepers’ Trailer Teases One Of 2015’s Best Docs

Two men. One amputated leg. What’s the worst that could happen?

There are many wonderful documentaries being released in 2015, but none will be more fun or original than Finders Keepers. The film tells the story of a man who found another man’s leg in a used grill, and the ensuing battle for ownership that caught the attention of the entire world. It’s silly and surprisingly heartfelt, with people you will not soon forget. The first trailer was released last week ahead of the film’s release later this month, and you can now view that footage below.

Here’s an excerpt from our review of Finders Keepers, which ran shortly after the film’s New England premiere back in April:

Before I begin writing in circles, let me just say Finders Keepers is one of the best documentaries I have seen in my twenty-eight years of life. It’s comical and heartbreaking, both in equal measure, and it explores new ground in the world of viral news coverage that is far more engrossing than you could ever imagine.

Finders Keepers will be released in theaters and on demand October 2.
