Coheed and Cambria are gearing up to release their eighth LP, and first to break from the concept of singer/guitarist Claudio Sanchez’ The Amory Wars. The Color Before The Sun will release on October 16 through 300 Entertainment.

The album’s lead single, “You’ve Got Spirit, Kid” has already been released, and now the band unveil new hit, “Here To Mars.” A song about Sanchez’s expanding love for his wife, you can read a lengthy interview with him about the track and album through Rolling Stone.

“Here To Mars” packs a huge punch in the form of a massive chorus, and fans of In Keeping Secret Of Silent Earth: 3 will feel right at home with the cut.
