Harmlessness is huge in scale—a marvel in modern songwriting. The band’s massive sound reaches its full potential on many of these tracks, including the still-impressive single “January 10th, 2014” as well as the vivid and dynamic closer, “Mount Hum.” Put honestly, Harmlessness makes Whenever, If Ever look like child’s play.
