Hoodie Allen Shares “The Moment” Featuring Travis Garland

The most underrated rapper in New York has shared another new track that serves to reaffirm his position amongst today’s best underground sensations.

Hoodie Allen recently spent a few days in the studio with singer Travis Garland and the production team The Stereotypes. The result of their time together is “The Moment,” a bass-heavy track that finds Hoodie delivering some of his fastest bars to date. It’s not quite “Rap God” status, but there are moments that are destined to draw comparisons. You can stream and download the track, which will not appear on Hoodie’s upcoming mixtape, at the end of this post.

While Hoodie is clearly the star, it’s worth mentioning that Travis Garland certainly makes his presence known. The production from The Stereotypes pairs perfectly with both talents, but the way Garland’s vocals soar on the hook really helps cement the song’s virality. This is the kind of song you put on when you’re celebrating life with your best friends, and it’s destined to become a fall party staple in no time at all.

I have a feeling Hoodie has more than just a mixtape up his sleeve for the fall, but right now he is playing everything close to the chest. Follow UTG on Twitter for updates.
