Coheed And Cambria Try To Turn The Clocks Back With “Eraser”

Coheed and Cambria are streaming a new track (via Noisey) from their upcoming LP, The Color Before The Sun.

“Eraser” is classic Coheed mixed with new pop rejuvenation. Featuring a frantic pre-chorus, “Eraser” explodes with its infectious chorus, getting the lines “Erase, eraser” stuck in the head of whoever hears it.

The Color Before The Sun will act as the band’s first non-canonical release in the ever growing Amory Wars, though this scaling back in narrative has only revitalized Coheed with a sense of poppier, brighter songwriting.

Due out Oct. 16, The Color Before The Sun is still available for pre-order here.

Check out “Eraser” after the jump, and be sure to let us know what you think!
