Side Saddle have unveiled a cinematic new set of visuals for “Legs For Days,” a slow-building ballad off their latest EP, Young Professional. Check it out below (via The Deli), and let us know what you think in the comments section.
“‘Legs For Days’ was a way for me to cope through a hard break-up,” vocalist Ian McGuinness told UTG earlier this summer. “Lyrically, it takes you through the painful, hazy steps of separation and ends with a moment of clarity and a glimpse of hope. Sonically, the song was our first foray into a larger wall of sounds, incorporating a string quartet, multiple trumpets and two drummers.”
Directed by Lauren Tracy, the Astoria outfit’s latest undertaking is comprised of melancholy memories that seem to grow alongside the track’s swelling instrumentation. The story being told is one that you’ve surely seen before, but it’s the clip’s beautiful juxtaposition of love and loss that ultimately makes it so enthralling.
