G-Eazy Announces New Album, Shares Lead Single

Hard to believe over a year has passed since G-Eazy shared his debut album, These Things Happen. In that time the Bay Area native has seen his star ascend into the stratosphere of urban music celebrity, with appearances at every major event from here to Tokyo, and now he’s prepared to unleash his sophomore LP.

When It’s Dark Out will be officially released on December 4, 2015. The album’s lead single, “Me, Myself, And I,” was released earlier this week to celebrate the album announcement. That track, which you can stream below, features guest work from pop star Bebe Rexha. It’s slightly darker than the material found on These Things Happen, but it’s undeniably the product of Eazy’s unique sense of wordplay.

According to a press release, G-Eazy produced the When It’s Dark Out with long time collaborator Christoph Anderson. Additional production work comes from Boi-1da, Southside, DJ Spinz, Kane Beatz and Remo, amongst others.

No pre-orders are available yet, but we assume that will change soon. Follow UTG on Twitter for updates.
